About the Program

The Cyprus Residency by Investment Program, often referred to as the Cyprus Golden Visa, allows non-European nationals to obtain permanent residency through a qualifying financial contribution.

Financial Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate: 

  • Minimum annual income of 50,000 EUR from abroad  
  • Additional 15,000 EUR for spouse  
  • Additional 10,000 EUR per dependent child  

Additional Requirements

Applicants must: 

  • Provide a clean criminal record (renewed every 3 years)  
  • Submit a declaration confirming non-employment in Cyprus  
  • Maintain valid health insurance (if not covered by the national system)  

Application Process

The process includes: 

  • Selection and completion of the qualifying investment  
  • Preparation and submission of application documents  
  • Government due diligence and approval  
  • Biometric submission (if required)  

To maintain residency, applicants must: 

  • Retain the investment  
  • Visit Cyprus at least once every two years  

Pathway to Citizenship

Permanent residents may become eligible for Cypriot citizenship after: 

  • 7 years of legal residency  
  • Meeting applicable legal and residency requirements
